About the company

In a world where consumer behaviours change ever so frequently, businesses need to keep up with evolving expectations, while staying true to their vision. That’s what distinguishes a great brand from an average one. At Therefore Design, we use design thinking to help bring brands to life. Using intelligent insights, we design brand ecosystems that position the brand squarely in the consumers’ minds. We strategise, create and curate cohesive brand experiences that help brands forge lasting relationships with their consumers. We design future-ready products that score high on functional and aspirational value, by finding the sweet spot between user-centric design, applicable technology, and business targets. We are proud to be one of India’s prominent, integrated brand consultancies since 2009 that works in synergy with businesses to impact their bottom line. Somewhere between doing this, we found ourselves the recipients of prestigious awards such as the Red-Dot 2018, G-Mark 2018, various CII Design Awards, and India’s Best Design Award for the Best Independent Packaging Design Studio, 2019. Dhun Patel

Co-founder & Director

Adept at gathering unique insights, Dhun is a perceptive Brand Strategist and Researcher, with a background in Mass Communication. A lifetime student of people’s behaviour, she’s spent 14 years studying people, contexts, and their psychology. She now mentors organisations in the design thinking process, empowering them to look beyond the obvious and create path-breaking solutions.

Vrishali Kekre

Co-founder & Director

Vrishali is a multidisciplinary designer, with a skilled grasp over marketing, technology and social media. Combining these together, she helps businesses find design-led solutions for diverse problems. Born in a defense family, Vrishali has travelled the length and breadth of India, and brings all the cultural learnings she’s imbibed, into her work. Based out of the Aurangabad office, she primarily focuses on home-grown Agro and manufacturing sectors.

Gauri Barve Kale

Co-founder & Director

A designer with a discerning eye for detail and an incredible knack for numbers (finance), Gauri can almost always spot that elusive ‘needle in the haystack’. Which is why she heads the design function at Therefore Design and closely monitors the quality of design that leaves the office. She’s true to her motto, “convince others only when we are convinced ourselves”, thus ensuring that each piece of work meets outstanding standards. Gauri is based out of the Bangalore office, from where she works extensively with startups.

Nitin Virkar

Co-founder & Director

Winner of acclaimed international awards such as the Red Dot and Japan’s Good Design Award, Nitin heads the product design function at Therefore Design, is a ceramist at heart, and literally lives by Dieter Rams’ ‘Ten Principles of Good Design’. He believes that at the core of every successful design engagement is the ‘user’, and hence aligns with innovation cells of companies, to explore ideas, and create future-ready products. Academically inclined himself, Nitin also takes every opportunity he can, to teach.
