Client Brief

Our task was to revamp Vadilal's brand identity and packaging. As the country's second largest ice cream brand by volume Vadilal has an extensive range of over 200 SKUs. But when it came to packaging there were two major challenges the brand faced in the market

- Inconsistent designs, no synergy across products or categories

- The packaging did not appeal to younger audiences.

Execution

We started by creating a standard brand identity for the brand which would make the look young and fresh, at the same time remind the audience of its much loved vintage logo. we then created a fresh palette for product range. Flavours were colour coded and a dedicated area on the pack was used to show ingredients. flavours were mentioned in standard fonts and font sizes. 

Result

The template and packaging re-vamp gained a lot of acceptance from retailers and customers alike.
