Client Brief

The story of The Chocolate Room in India began with its first store in Ahmedabad in 2007. As a specialty chocolate-cafe chain from Australia, the brand had a legacy to carry forward and nurture. We have been associated with The Chocolate Room Since early days. We have worked on complete brand communication for The Chocolate Room including flyers, posters, tent cards, brochures, outdoor, store ambience, menu, packaging and POP branding. As a creative agency for the chocolate room, our responsibility was to create a connect with Indian audience whose predisposition towards tastes and preferences is driven by uniquely distinct social, cultural and behavioural traits. 


After market research, consumer survey and through sessions with the client, we defined brand personality of The Chocolate Room as fun, friendly and creative. Operating in the F&B segment and having youth as its core target audience, it was essential for The Chocolate Room to create a hang-out friendly vibe. Keeping this in mind and building around its personality, we created authentic brand voice of The Chocolate Room and consolidated it with various brand communications over the years that has today culminated into its brand image.


We created content laced with wit and creativity to make communication as delightful as delicacies of The Chocolate Room. This in turn served to establish hangout friendly vibe of the place and position the brand as India’s favourite hangout place. We have created many flagship campaigns for The Chocolate Room including Diwali, Christmas, Shiver Shippers and Summer Quenchers among others. The Chocolate Room being a pan-India brand, we have to manage many last-minute assignments where we have stood out with punctuality and discipline in content delivery.


The Chocolate Room has flourished at a frantic pace growing from 1st store in 2007 to 300+ cafes across 20 states and 50 cities of India in just 1 decade. We have been able to delivery content with a consistency of communication at every brand touch point in order to assure a uniformity of brand experience to the thousands of customers The Chocolate Room serves across its cafes every day. While posters, flyers, menu and POP branding we created engaged customers with creative ideas, punchy lines and delightful designs, corporate & franchise brochures we created helped the client to impress investors and franchisees.
