The release of some much-awaited movies was delayed when the theatres shut down to limit the spread of COVID-19 

Our main objective was to sustain engagement on the page and ensure that our fans do not miss the buzz and excitement

Our brief was to provide the audience 'entertainment with information' and create positive engagement

Idea

Test the audience's true knowledge about movies they have watched and read about for hours and give them a chance to flex that cinema-loving muscle!

  • Our focus was on the movies with which our audience has actively interacted in the past 
  • We kept the mechanism simple and made it fun using the quiz feature on IG story so more people can engage

Execution

A month-long campaign, where Universal Pictures India hosted interesting quizzes designed exclusively for IG stories with top movie franchises like Fast & Furious, James Bond and Despicable Me

We pushed the activity once in a week, to maintain quality over quantity so there is no sudden change for our audience with content

These quizzes were based on formats such as Complete the Dialogue, How Well Do You Know About Minions, 19 Years of Fast & Furious, Jurassic trivia challenge and so on

Result

This engagement-driven series received an overwhelming response on our page

With an all-time high engagement rate, we created 28000+ interactions with zero media spends

Moreover, the stories were viewed 94,853 times by our audience within a month
