Mastercard, along with legendary cricketer MS Dhoni, have joined hands to launch a nationwide initiative to accelerate the acceptance and adoption of digital payments titled ‘Team Cashless India’. The campaign encourages all Indians to nominate one or more merchants who currently do not accept digital payments. Mastercard will work to support nominated merchants to deploy digital payments acceptance infrastructure. These nominations are expected to create a social movement for making India a cashless society.

Focusing on the motto that ‘Change starts with you’ we pushed content urging employees to join MS Dhoni in Team Cashless and be the driving force in making India a digital economy.


A series of teaser mailers and electronic bulletin board creatives were shared with employees across Mastercard’s 4 centers creating awareness for Team Cashless India and nudging them to champion the cause.
