Client Brief

SBM Bank had had their operations in India for over two decades when they converted from being the Indian arm of a foreign Bank into a wholly owned Indian subsidiary of SBM Group. With this, they also decided to position their Retail Banking arm as an offering designed for the HNI audience, and they chose to partner with Urja to create their Brand Identity.

Idea

We undertook immersive studies and secondary researches to define the values and attributes of the target audience; and based on the same, defined the key attributes of the brand and laid out the framework for Visual branding.

Execution

Following an in-depth study and discussions, we culled out the brand positioning, “Powerfully Exclusive” and went on to create the Visual Brand Identity of ‘SBM Private Wealth’, complete with its Logo and Brand Colours of premium blue and gold.

Result

The Premium Branding of the segment has not only been highly appreciated by the Management team, but has also empowered the Business and Sales Team to present the brand well, and brought pride and delight to customers. 

SBM Private Wealth now has a premium microsite; tastefully designed branch fascia, brochures and brand films; distinctive Debit Card kits, bank statements, Welcome emails, and much more - all conceptualised and created by Urja.
