Sunlight Care - Sri Lanka – Pearls (Unilever) Sub-Brand Identity and Package design 

Brand Brief - Procreate associated with Unilever to work on their heritage and esteemed brand Sunlight. Task was to design for a premium sub-brand under Sunlight named Sunlight Care - Pearls.

Idea

The idea delivered modernity of the brand with the launch of a liquid detergent format. The design architecture was carefully adapted on other formats as a unified range of Sunlight Care identity.

Execution

Strategy & Approach – Design Strategy was to retain the visual elements of the brand (Logo) as a visual equity of the brand and differentiate the product on the “color care” and soft fabric care propositions.

We designed a strategic packaging design that matched their brand philosophy. An elegant picture of a gown in purple color to visually communicate the softness, care and color care value of the fabric. The pearl and flower element suggest the softness and care using the detergent.

Result

Outcome

The final pack was a fresh look with a future format of a modern packaging design in the detergent segment. Procreate further integrated the design language and architecture on sub product formats like sachets & soaps.

With this quality packaging design, Sunlight has fostered new relationships with the consumers, without compromising on the iconic heritage of Sunlight detergent.
