Client Brief

Client: Discovery Channel India is the Indian version of Discovery Channel operated by Discovery Networks Asia Pacific for the Indian subcontinent, launched in 1995. 

We were madated with their social media content promotions. 

Brief: Each brief revolved around crating buzz via social media content promotions for the the new show that was going on air. This included shows of Oprah Winfrey and Bear Gyles. Show on Harley Davidson and Rhino Extinction along with the franchise, Naked & Afraid. Goal: Helping create awareness & intrigue around Discovery's new show with Oprah Winfrey

 

Idea

For Oprah's show the social media communication was based on the concept called 'words of belief'.  These were words that were the actual themes of the each episodes of the show. 

 

Execution

Communication strategy: The concept, words of beleif was captured by a distinct photoshoot for each episode of the show as per its theme like hope, love, faith, peace etc.

Methodology:

We zeroed in on the Target Audience basis the traditional audience of Discovery and the fans of Oprah Winfrey. Also, the theme of the campaign enabled targeting a wide yet unusual mix of students, entrepreneurs etc.
