Sbarro is everyone’s favourite destination for hand-stretched New York styled pizzas. With 21 stores across India, their pizzas are the talk of the town and they have made a mark in the food & beverage industry.

The client needed a Social & Digital engagement roadmap: To build brand awareness, improve brand recall, Generate online sales and Establish Sbarro India as a preferred choice amongst the Pizza Lovers.

Idea

- Whenever someone feels like eating a pizza, there is a trigger that lead the one to go ahead and order the pizza. That can be hunger, socialization or merely just craving to eat a cheesy slice. 

- Every situation is different and unique, and we connect these situations to the whole idea/process of ordering the pizza by introducing the campaign under the name "BE BOGOFIED"

- #BeBOGOfied was positioned as an expression that leads one to savour a pizza no matter what the situation, he/she is in.

Execution

- Executed innovative digital marketing strategies to connect with the audience.

- A detailed study to understand brand identity so as to built relevant conversations on social media.

- Engaged with the pizza lovers through interactive content and made them aware about various offers and deals on the product.

- Acquired fan base through various promotional activities and content.

Result

- An Impressive surge in sales by 70% on monthly basis on various offers and deals such as Buy 1 Get Free, Friday offer, etc.

- Managed to get featured on multiple digital marketing journals and online magazines for this campaign on Social Samosa, MediaNews4U, etc.
