How Pee Safe and Nukkad by STAGE helped encouraged women to #BleedYourWay on menstrual hygiene day
On Menstrual Hygiene Day 2020, Pee Safe decided to talk about periods loud and clear. They chose Nukkad by STAGE to be the voice and platform to reach out to every Bharatwasi. The aim was to talk about feminine hygiene while seamlessly talking about the goodness of and variety of Pee Safe products, that make women’s period a happy and healthy time.
We realised that while going bold with the communication around period and encouraging women to #BleedYourWay, it was important to talk to both women and men. We took the route where we helped women to make informed choices about their period products as well as busted myths and perceptions.
Nukkad by STAGE’s two very popular characters Dr Didi and Raju Panchayati joined the #BleedYourWay bandwagon. Through the Health and Fitness show, Dr Didi ensured that women know about feminine hygiene, and that there are options for “those days” that go beyond the sanitary napkins. Raju on the other hand, took charge of making men understand more about period so that they can get rid of their judgements and misconceptions and in fact, know about the role they can play in making a woman’s period a comfortable time.
With Nukkad by STAGE and Pee Safe joining forces, the campaign garnered 12,79,668 eyeballs, along with 36,86,659 reach and a huge engagement of 10,000+ likes, shares, comments and link clicks.
