With more than three decades of industry experience in marketing, he helps companies devise strategies to promote their B2B and B2C products and services.
Currently, he is working as the Director and COO of Bruce Clay India (BCI), one of the leading digital marketing agencies in the country. In this role, he is using his vast industry experience, backed by SEO, SEM, and other digital strategies, to enable a wide variety of clients.
Prior to this, he has thirty-three years of managerial experience with Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a premier Steel Company in the world, with a turnover exceeding the US $8 billion.
Having worked in various divisions of SAIL for both domestic and industrial markets (industrial and retail), he has a deep understanding of client relationships. This is also because, apart from steel, he enriched himself by marketing chemicals, fertilizers, cement slag, & other secondary products.
In the course of his professional career, he has developed wide-ranging expertise in marketing/retail sales/rural sales, sales to projects, logistics/ warehousing, selling, outsourcing, strategic business planning for Steel markets, both domestic and international.
In the course of his tenure in international marketing, he has visited the USA, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and Bangladesh and has good knowledge of the working styles and has also developed good personal relations with the buyers in the above countries by fulfilling the commitments made to them.
While he was still at SAIL, he began noticing that digital technology had become the mainstay for all industries. So, when he joined Bruce Clay India, he started combining his industry expertise with digital know-how to devise strategies to improve the competitiveness of our clients, help them define their target customers, and find innovative ways to reach out to them.
During the COVID-19 phase, when many businesses were facing an existential crisis, he, along with the team at Bruce Clay India, helped several clients actually grow their business and come out of the crisis not only unscathed but also “digitally rebooted”.
In his long career journey, he has also been a management consultant and coach to many companies. He also works as a Business Coach and Mentor for budding entrepreneurs.
