Bhavya from TVF connected with us a few weeks before the launch of their new web series, The Interns to discuss the social media marketing mandate for the show. Platforms in focus - Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The project goal was to introduce the upcoming show to the viewers, engage their interest throughout its run, and generate viewership for the 3 episode mini-series.  

Target audience: Young women who engage with Girliyapa and its content.

Execution

Deliverables for the project included static posts, GIFs, videos, and stories. 

We started the social media activities for the series with some quirky non-announcements, that hinted at the premise of the show, without disclosing any actual information -

Once we had everyone's attention we introduced the new web series and its character and thereafter used content from the show - clips, images and music, and associated it with quirky copies to engage and hook our audience. We kept the content flowing for 4 weeks while the show was premiering.

Result

The series trended on YouTube all 3 weeks of its run generating over 12 million views on YouTube.
