BACKGROUND

India is one of the largest tea consumer market in the world. For decades tea has been an invariably the most preferred choice for a drink. With time there have been a clutter of tea variants like Black tea, Green Tea, Matcha tea and so on and so forth. Oleaf Herbal Tea is a pioneer in manufacturing herbal tea from Olive tea leaf.

 

CHALLENGES

Food and Beverage is one of the most cluttered categories and hence challenging for any new entrant to create a dent in the market. The challenge was to differentiate amongst the direct and indirect competitors and create a strategy to get introduced in the market and create the online and offline sales funnel.

Execution

THE CAMPAIGN

With a premium packaging the first task was to introduce Oleaf Olive tea with a strong differentiation. When we started comparing Oleaf tea with all other tea there was one major difference that we stumbled upon - The Real Health Benefits. While all tea brands claim to have health benefits the fact is that very few actually have them. Since ages we know that Olive Oil is one of the most healthiest oils as its made from this golden ingredient — Olive. Oleaf Olive Tea is rich in antioxidants, improves immunity, reduces risk of diabetes, relieves stress, maintains hear health and so on. So we introduced OLEAF OLIVE TEA - as "Possibly The Healthiest Tea In The World". With a unique positioning we started the pre launch phase by educating benefits of Olive followed by a digital launch campaign on Social Media. The next step was to create a sales funnel which was done via Amazon, Flipkart listing and through Social Media , Google and Amazon there was traffic generated on the listing. In the next phase there were tie-ups at the retail level in the premium stores such as Benzer, Natures Basket to start creating the on group presence along with retail branding. As a part of the Social Media Strategy Oleaf Olive Tea has been projected as a lifestyle change to appeal to the right set of audience along with on going effort of generating offline and online sales.
