Gadre Seafood is one of the world's largest seafood manufacturers. It had signed Chef Vikas Khanna as the face of its brands. With this association, the brand wanted to change the perception about frozen seafood in India and create more awareness about its specialties.

Gadre Seafood is one of the world's largest seafood manufacturers. It had signed Chef Vikas Khanna as the face of its brands. With this association, the brand wanted to change the perception about frozen seafood in India and create more awareness about its specialties.

 

THE CAMPAIGN

One brand attribute that could we wanted to leverage was the innovative product that Gadre Seafood created - Crab Sticks. With the humor peg the TV Commercial was focused on communicating the making Fish taste like CRAB is an invention only GADRE SEAFOOD could have achieved. The campaign had a strong digital leg where users were asked to state an excuse to meet Chef Vikas Khanna via Meet AND Greet contest. To make the association even stronger there was a series of recipes by Chef Vikas Khanna launched on YouTube.

While the Mainline communication increased the SOV of the brand over 20% the digital campaign got an engagement over 1 Lakh users.
