Houseey is an online real estate portal designed to find the "Key to Happiness". Born with a vision of passionate problem solving and funded by top investors, they are well on track to become the most trusted Indian platform to help people find their dream home. They offer a variety of value-added services through each stage of your experience; right from the beginning of your property search to when you move in, ensuring that you get the best outcome.
The brief was to design a portal that breaks away from the monotony of looking for homes, while being inviting and engaging for its vast target audience.
Many websites make house-hunting a herculean task. Potential buyers need to go through countless properties and finding the perfect one can be both time and effort-consuming. Houseey is not one of those platforms. Houseey introduced India’s 1st smart search, helping buyers find their dream house in a quick, smart, and easy way. The most challenging task was to create this simple yet effective search engine. Despite a complex application, we ensured a smooth user flow where users can find information as per their needs.
We created a comprehensive information architecture by categorising, labeling, and arranging the information based on our insights from user profiling and competitive analysis.
The intention was to help users adopt more efficient methods, allow flexibility in their task sequences and create a well-formulated end goal. To design a simple, clutterfree, and effective UI for a complex application. To make important information visually salient. To accommodate a large amount of content, making it easily accessible under the menu in the web design. To design a bottom navigation bar for quick access instead of a basic hamburger menu at the top on mobile.
Despite a complex application, we were able to create a simple yet effective smart search for the users. After thorough UX research, 3MD designed a website that allows users to use India’s first smart search where users can search by train stations and travel time from different locations! Multiple filters were designed to assist users to locate the best deal for their dream homes. Reduced clutter with better capabilities and also enhanced UI.
